STOP THE PRESSES………….OOOPS  I MEAN START THE PRESSES,  THE TORTILLA PRESS THAT IS!

A True Angel of God sent me an awesome tortilla press.  This is something I have been dreaming of getting for two years now and I now had it sitting in front of me yelling make crackers!   Yes I will also make GF tortillas soon but my dream was to make crackers.   Rolling and cutting and getting GF cracker dough thin enough is a darn hassle to say the least so I was all giddy inside as I mixed my dough and kept looking over to see if my new baby (she will be named Tori) was doing okay.

1st cracker………….smoosh!  literally it just exploded out all sides.    2nd cracker………….. very thin and holey.   3rd cracker, I nailed it.   a perfectly round little cracker that was crisp and cooked.   I did it, I really did it.

with a smug smile i asked myself is this really easier than rolling and putting in the oven?  With a smug smile back I told myself, yes, yes it is.  and my son ate 3 of them hot off the press.

Success, and total happiness at an accomplishment I had only up to this day dreamed of.
