Hi Theresa. I already subscribe to their newsletter to step 1 was easy – lol. My favourite way to use coconut oil is in baking – breads and muffins mostly, but my family’s absolute favourite is magic chocolate shell for ice cream (homemade non-dairy of course :-D). Everyone loves that chocolate sauce that hardens into a shell and coconut oil is the key ingredient to having it harden. Thanks for this chance.

I use it mostly for cooking, frying eggs, chicken, fresh vegetables. I also like to use it instead of lotions that have a lot of chemicals in them.
All natural is the best way and coconut oil is so versatile it is an important multitasker for any home.

I subscribed to the newsletter and look forward to receiving it. I have yet to use coconut oil, but like the idea of using it in cooking, as well as a hard topping on icecream. I like the idea of having an alternative to other oils. Thanks!

i use coconut oil for baking my gluten free nut breads. i also like to make Dutch baby oven pancake using the oil for baking. 1/2 cup of coconut oil in an oven proof pan ( i use my cast iron) put that in a 400 degree oven to melt. Combine 6-8 eggs, 1 1/2 cups of organic milk or almond milk, 1 1/2 cups of gluten free flours, a pinch of salt, and a healthy shake or two of nutmeg into a blender. when thoroughly blended, pour into pan of melted oil. pop back into the oven and bake for 20 minutes. if you want to throw any fruit in at that time ( peach slices are good, so are berries) do so. serve with honey or maple syrup. it is very yummy!

I already subscribe to the newsletter, but I use coconut oil in everything. Some of my favorite uses are in coconut fudge, use it as a deodorant, stirfrys, in baked goods, as a hair treatment…..

Subscribed (mhorowitz at ncbar dot org)! Our favorite way to use it is for a whole bunch of ways in the kitchen (including as the base for a delicious black-bean chocolate cake, mixed with sucanat), and for diaper rash–it’s cloth diaper safe!

I use it to cook everything. Saute veggies, fry / scramble eggs, meats, baking. Oh my goodness, the gluten free King Arthur chocolate cake is so moist with coconut oil. I use it on my hands, face, etc. It is my favorite new item and I will not go back to veggie/ canola oil.
I was already subscribed to the newsletter it appears.

Okay so now I have a few people who put it in coffee, or warm drinks. Does it make it creamy or just healthy? I think it would be greasy. Going to have to try it with my next jar of coconut oil.

I subscribed with my email allison_bruner@hotmail.com. Did you know that coconut oil is an antibacterial and antiviral food? You can take it when your sick in place of harsh prescription antibiotics. It even cured my UTI! I love this oil so much. The uses for it are virtually endless.
