kefir Desserts (GF/CF)

Those of you who know me, know that I just love my Kefir.   Sadly when I went dairy free I lost the ability to have Milk Kefir but found So Delicious Coconut Kefir.   It is so delicious.  So with the suggestion of a good friend Karen on my gf/cf support group We have come up with some great desserts.

1/2 cup Kefir (regular or coconut)

1 orange cut up into bite size pieces (organic if possible)

cinnamon and sugar of your choice (I am sugar free so use stevia) enough for your liking

nuts of your choice (I use sliced almonds)

I love this so much I have tried it subbing the oranges for apples (if you don’t like the crunch of the apples try cooking the apples down a little in water and cinnamon and make them kind of soft and syrupy then add everything)   I am also going to try it with bananas and all kinds of fruits.    (combine a bunch of fruits for a fruit salad) You can’t go wrong with this recipe its just plain good.  Not sure I can live a day without it.  So healthy too.
