Quinoa breakfast/dessert/snack

I am so obsessed with eating healthy and I am finding so many things that are good for me and still tastes absolutely awesome.  I had this for breakfast today and just fell in love.

1/4 cup quinoa

1/2 organic fuji apple

cinnamon (I like a lot of cinnamon)

boil and simmer that until desired consistency. I like mine just a little crunchy still.  (reminds me of eating oatmeal)  put that in a bowl and add a dab of almond milk for moisture and sweetener of choice (I use stevia or xylitol)   and enjoy a bowl of sweet goodness.   I like apples and oranges but any fruit I am assuming can be substituted in this dish.

Tried this with Pear as the fruit this morning and it was very good, had to reduce sweetener as the pear was very very sweet in this dish.   (did you know that pears are the only fruit that won’t feed yeast?   Perfect fruit if you have yeast problems)
