the problem with some tea bags is that they use a gluten based glue to seal their tea bags, some also add barley malt or other other gluten in processing (celestial teas have some varieties that contain gluten). I love green tea and Matcha green tea from Costco is just absolutely yummy so I contacted the manufacturers who assured me their items were gluten free. Here is their response. Now can it be on shared lines? yes but honestly I have not had a problem with them. If you do please discontinue usage, everyone’s sensitivity to a product or cross contamination is different. There are some brands of gluten free products I cannot use because of shared lines.
