Aren’t these just the yummiest little things you have ever seen?   I got my mini donut maker in the mail today and I just had to try it out.   It worked fabulous.  I am not 100% happy with the texture of the donuts so I am not posting a recipe.  The chocolate on top was so good I almost felt like a kid again eating the tops off first.     I just had to tell you all that I was really happy with my little machine.  I also have a mini muffin as you knew by previous posts and I got a brownie maker as well.  I know I could do it in the oven but how much more fun is a little machine.   I am a gadget junkie, i admit it.   I set these machines all side by side in my cupboard next to my tortilla press.  I have quite the collection of little machines now.   I use them all!

If anyone out there has a donut recipe that mimics the kinnikinick donuts I would appreciate you sharing.   Kinnikinick has raised their prices (at least here in Alaska) and their product is 1/2 the size.  a donut is literally three bites and for $7 a box that  comes out to…….18 bites for .39 cents a bite.   too much for me!
