Homemade Jell-o

I forgot I told you that I was going to make home-made jello and then I didnt’ let you all know how it went.

Raise your hand high if you grew up on those little jello brand boxed jello’s.  you just open them up and pour in boiling hot water and dissolve and then chill.  Easy right? that’s why we all bought them right? Convenience?

OH PLEASE!  if I knew then what I know now that little box of nothing but sugar and food dye would have ever entered my house!

get a box of knox original gelatine (unflavored) and your favorite juice.  the recipe is on the back of the box.   Wham! Bam! Kazooey!  (feel free to add in more exciting words) you have your own jello.   Sugar free, dye free, dang good Jell-O.  I use organic juice, it says you can add honey or sweetener but really why, it already tastes like the juice you use.

Honestly I am just at  loss for words why I ever bought those icky little boxes of jello.   I almost am sick at that fact, as homemade was not only healthier but easier.

now on to pudding!
